Kunming's Flower
and Bird Market, on the streets around Guanghua Lu, is a great way
to get a feel for old Kunming. The market is famous for its horticulture
and this is the place to come and see why - the market is crammed
with outdoor stalls and shops selling a wide range of cheap local
flowers and plants. There are also antiques, a whole host of herbal
